Game of Thrones Season 2: Back and Good as Ever!
So, last night I realised that Game of Thrones Season 2 had started... So after I cleaned up the mess, I sat down with my wife and gorged on the first episode... All I can say is it's just as good as the ambitious and perfectly executed first season And thank the old gods for that... Check out a nice primer for the season ahead, above. We fans are very lucky to have such a faithful adaptation and I'm looking forward to the introduction of a couple of my favourite characters.
I highly recommend you check out the books, and pick up the first season which is now available on DVD & Bluray.
Gervais' Derek: Trailer & Outtakes
As a Gervaisophile I was certainly excited by this... But a little wary after seeing the Trailer which isn't exactly hooking me in... Still, he ain't done wrong by me yet, and it will be great to see Carl acting... Trailer and out-takes for Ricky Gervais' new series Derek.
Star Wars Kinect
I heard a lot about this; the latest Star Wars game on X360 Kinect and it's 'dance' component and I avoided it... With the hate of a man burnt by 3 prequels... But I kept getting sent links and eventually I checked it out and well... It's actually pretty cool. The idea is makes me cringe but it's execution is that of people who obvioulsy love and respect Star Wars, the song lyrics, the dance move names, it's actually pretty well done.

Every year, geek-wares site ThinkGeek posts a series of false new products, here's this years and a historical reference of years previous... What IS interesting is many of these products like the Tauntaun Sleeping Bag actually became REAL products!
