I've stumbled onto a fantastic Podcast: Wilosophy.
Wil Anderson, comedian and host of The Gruen series interviews Australian entertainment 'icons'; gets deep and meaningful about their personal philosophys and how they got to where they are now.
I was reluctant at first not being a big fan of all interviewees but each interview has soemthing valuable and unexpected.
I would recommend starting with Advertising mogul and Gruen co-host Todd Samson, quite an eye (ear?) opener...
Check it out on itunes or online.

Podcast: We're Alive
I just discovered an amazing serialized Podcast.
'We're Alive' follows the story of Michael, an off-duty professional soldier and his crew of survivors during the beginning of a Zombie apocalypse; focusing like all good Zombie fiction on the interrelationships of the living rather than the Zombies themselves.
Interestingly, the author IS a retired soldier and professional sound designer which contribute to an authentic, old school radio drama, with high production values, great sound design and professional voice actors.
The series is free, running 4 (currently in it's last) seasons, each episode broken into three parts. Even if you're suffering Zombie fatigue, it's a wonderful storytelling experience.
Check out the site or sync every episode in itunes.

Podcast: This American Life
This American Life is an amazing Public Radio show and weekly Podcast that uses a combination of journalism, editorial, memoirs, short fiction and interviews to share the diversity of American life (though it is anything but Americentric). From the madness of Patent Law, to a profile of an Obama lookalike to week with a High School on the edge of gang violence. Ii is highly informative, deeply insightful and often very moving.
Some episodes focus on a single person, situation or event; others present a diverse range of articles around a single theme.
A great place to start is their recent 500th episode which gives a good overview of what the show's about. Otherwise you can check out the archive, subscribe in iTunes for the latest episodes or even watch the T.V. Show which ran for two seasons.

Podcast: The Fourth pLayer
While 'pushing' one of my favourite things (table top Roleplaying games) on fellow ex-THQ employee, Paul 'Hot Lips' Houlihan, I discovered that he is busy with another one of my favourite things, a fantastic new Podcast!
With 17 episodes so far, The Fourth Player is a genuinely insightful, informative and engaging podcast. Presenting a casual, round table discussion of video games, the crew have a great chemistry, good production values and varied content.
Of particular interest is the fact that each of its members come from varying backgrounds within the industry itself and very different tastes in games and preference for platform; making for lively (and amusing) debate.
More than just a plug, I genuinely recommend the Podcast... I'm trawling through it right now... And I can't get that theme song out of my head!

Podcast MBMBAM
I've been churning my way through this Podcast I've discovered called My Brother, My Brother and Me. Three geeky brothers assemble to provide 'advice for the modern era'. I have had to explain strange looks from co-workers as I am literally reduced to tears by their always funny, often surprisingly insightful advice for real problems and random, truly bizarre random 'Yahoo Questions'. Check out the 'sampler' above or go to their site and subscribe in itunes.
